NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR SLOW CENTURY RECORDS
Just nine months after opening our doors in Knowle, Solihull, Slow Century Records was shortlisted for Best Independent Record Store at the 2026 AIM Independent Music Awards. The news was picked up across local and regional media, alongside coverage of our upcoming Slow Century Summer Jam a day of live music, DJs, food and drink bringing together local businesses and the Knowle community.
RECORD STORE DAY COMES TO KNOWLE
In April 2026, Slow Century Records brought Record Store Day to Knowle for the first time. As an official Record Store Day UK shop, we welcomed vinyl lovers to our independent record store on Knowle High Street for a day celebrating records, independent music and our local community with Solihull Updates helping to spread the word ahead of the event.
